Spirulina Powder

Spirulina powder is produced from the blue-green microalgae (Spirulina pacifica) grown in ocean water. The algae is cultivated, harvested, screened, washed, dried, and then prepared into a powder.

Functionality

Spirulina is used as a colorant due to its natural green color, chlorophyll. Spirulina contains a number of nutrients and natural compounds such as carotenoids, protein, and trace minerals as well as chlorophyll.
