Olive Oil

Olive oil is made from the olive fruit (Olea europaea), which is originally found in the Mediterranean region. Olives are cleaned and ground into a paste, which is then centrifuged to separate the water and oil. Olive oil is rich in oleic acids (an omega-9 fatty acid).
