Why was this study done?

Discovering the right mixture of macronutrients (protein, carbohydrate, fat) in meal replacements to help maintain blood sugar levels is important for blood sugar stabilization and weight loss. This study was designed to investigate the relationship between different levels of macronutrients on blood sugar control.

What did the study find?

The study found that both protein (around 26 %) and fiber (around 5 %) were the best way to keep blood sugar low.
