Acacia Gum
Acacia gum, also known as gum arabic, is a natural plant gum that is extracted from the bark of Acacia trees, which are grown in the Middle East and Africa. The gum is collected, dried, put into solution, and then spray dried into a powder. Acacia gum is used in food products as a natural source of dietary fiber and an emulsifying agent to improve flavor, texture, and mouth-feel. It is also used in supplements as a natural binder to help hold tablets together.
