Determining the quality and quantity of active ingredients in raw materials is important for supplement manufacturing. This study was designed to understand the best method of determining Coenzyme Q10 content in raw materials and finished products.

The findings of the study suggest that high-performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC)-UV is the method recommended by Official First Action for determination of CoQ10 in raw materials and dietary supplement finished products containing CoQ10.
